Two Wolves Have Found a New Home After Seacrest Wolf Preserve Faces Unexpected Closure

NAPLES, Fla. (March 11, 2026) – Shy Wolf Sanctuary is proud to announce the arrival of Amerika and Legion, two beautiful wolves who have recently joined the sanctuary family.

Seacrest Wolf Preserve recently faced the difficult loss of their property, requiring them to quickly secure safe placements for the animals in their care. In response, Shy Wolf Sanctuary stepped forward to provide a permanent home for two of the wolves.

Amerika, a striking white female wolf, and Legion, a black male wolf, arrived safely and are now settling into their new environment under the care of the sanctuary’s experienced animal care team.

“We are honored to provide a safe and loving home for Amerika and Legion and look forward to getting to know their personalities as they settle in.” said Animal Care Director, Liz Harmon.

Shy Wolf Sanctuary is a nonprofit wildlife sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and caring for wolves and wolfdogs in need. The organization works to provide lifelong care, education, and advocacy for these often misunderstood species.

Community members who would like to support the care of Amerika and Legion can make a donation through the sanctuary’s website.
