Meet Wiley 🐾

Wiley is a male wolfdog (25% Grey Wolf) who calls Shy Wolf Sanctuary home. Like many of the animals in our care, Wiley came to us needing understanding, patience, and a safe environment where he could simply be himself.

Wiley can struggle in a busy environment and does best with consistency, structure, and trusted routines. He is a big, strong boy with a bold personality, but beneath that is a playful and affectionate side that shines once he feels safe and comfortable. He absolutely loves his toys, enjoys spending time with familiar people, and has formed close bonds with several of our senior volunteers.

Wolfdogs are complex, intelligent animals that require specialized care and lifelong commitment, and Wiley is no exception. At Shy Wolf Sanctuary, he has the stability, care, and understanding he needs to thrive while helping educate visitors about these often misunderstood animals.
