Sequoia is a stunning young wolfdog with a gentle spirit and a heart that’s slowly learning to trust. While much of her early life remains a mystery, she was pulled from a shelter in Virginia on August 1, 2025, and has been thriving in a loving foster home since then.

At 61% wolf and 39% German Shepherd Dog, Sequoia carries the intelligence, sensitivity, and alertness of both breeds. She currently weighs about 60 pounds and is still growing into her long legs and beautiful frame. Her celebrated birthday is 10/10/2024, making her a lively youngster with plenty of potential.

Sequoia tends to be timid around men, but she warms up much more quickly to women and has shown she can build trust with time, patience, and a calm presence. She’s blossoming socially thanks to her foster pack—she gets along wonderfully with Loki and Yardley and especially enjoys a good game of chase.
